This position is in our DUCKS school within Dulwich College (Singapore). DUCKS is academically selective and provides a well-rounded education founded on academic rigour. DUCKS compromises of 730 students and over 40 different nationalities from pre-nursery (age 2) to Year 2 (Age 7). DUCKS follows an enhanced, concept-based English National Curriculum within a Dual Language setting (English and Mandarin).

An exciting opportunity is available for an EAL Teacher in our DUCKS school for an August 2021 start.
The main role of the EAL teacher will be to:
- Teach children for whom English is an additional language and support their needs so they can access the curriculum in DUCKS;
- Develop second language learning resources to enhance the learning in DUCKS;
- Lead PLD in the area of EAL.
The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching children aged 2 to 7 years old. Experience and qualifications in the area of EAL in Early Years would be advantageous.
The right candidate will be a highly committed team player with the drive, energy and passion to develop this forward-looking school. Applicants must be willing to lead by example and play a full part in the colleges pastoral care and extra-curricular programme.
