Job overview
North Cambridge Academy is currently looking to appoint Language Tutors to support pupils with examination preparation. The successful candidate will work directly with Key Stage 4 pupils in order to support them with their GCSE studies and in preparation for examinations in their home language. The tutor will either work with pupils on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups.
We are looking for tutors to support with the following languages:
Arabic
Chinese (Mandarin)
French
Japanese
Portuguese
These casual contracts are a fantastic opportunity for a teachers or tutors who are currently looking for an additional job role as we are looking for a tutor who is available for one to two lessons a week from 3pm to 4pm.
The hours may increase in the Summer term, nearer to the date of the exam, to ensure pupils are best prepared. The day of the lesson is negotiable, we just ask that the successful candidate is available on a weekly basis during term time until June 2020.
