Primary Teacher – Early Childhood
As a teacher at St Margaret's the primary role is to develop and deliver high quality learning programs to encourage students to achieve academically and become lifelong learners.
This role will be based in the pre-prep classroom and will be responsible for the design and delivery of the pre-prep program. Our pre-prep centre is adjacent the school and has much to offer, including a sand and mud pit, organic garden and natural play areas as well as colourful play equipment and excellent educational resources.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding educator who possesses both qualifications and experience in early childhood education. You will have an excellent knowledge of relevant childcare regulations and legislation and have a proven ability to withhold these to a high standard. In addition to your qualifications and experience, you will be passionate about educating young children and installing a love of learning.
Whilst there is a high level of autonomy day to day, the role is supported by the Primary School Leadership team and shares the collegiality of the wider Primary School team.
This role will commence in January 2020 and initially be offered on a 12 month contract.
