The international airport offers 16 flights per day to Bangkok and daily flights to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, both of which are only a short distance away, opening up the rest of Asia. It is easy to spend your weekends or holidays exploring this beautiful part of the world.

Hatyai itself is an up and coming city without the high cost of living found in other more well known destinations in Thailand.  There are large western style malls and supermarkets, and many bars and restaurants  providing a range of international food, yet Hatyai retains a very 'Thai' feel and the population are very friendly and helpful, welcoming people with the famous 'Thai Smile'.
