Rockingham Primary School is recruiting for an experienced Early Years Class Teacher to start with us in September 2022.

In our March 2022 Ofsted they commented that “pupils are proud of their caring school." They commended the school on the positive relationships, which was summarised by one of our pupils in the report: "‘Teachers don’t put you down. They pick you up.’”

About the role

Maintain a learning environment and teaching practice which secures effective 

learning across the breadth of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

 Establishes positive and productive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.

 Work with staff in Foundation Stage to achieve the priorities and targets which 

the school sets, in conjunction with the governors, and to work alongside the 

Lead in implementing & evaluating learning opportunities.

In conjunction with all members of the Senior Leadership team assist in 

maintaining good communication with parents and the wider community.

Permanent, Full time. 

32.5 hours per week / 52.143 weeks per year

Who we are looking for

·       Qualified teacher status  

·       A degree or equivalent qualification.

·       Recent experience working in an EYFS setting in the UK

 A thorough up to date knowledge of the range of teaching, learning and 

behaviour management strategies and how to implement them effectively
