Do you want to be part of a developing school which has a clear direction, strong leadership and a well-established set of values?

Bluecoat Primary Academy is currently recruiting for an EYFS Leader to be based in an F2 class, for a September 2018 start.

Bluecoat Primary Academy is part of Archway Learning Trust, based in the heart of the city of Nottingham providing high quality learning experiences for our students from the ages 3 – 18. The Trust was previously Bluecoat Academies Trust formed in April 2014 as a result of the very long and successful history of Bluecoat Academy. The Trust comprises of Bluecoat Aspley Academy which includes the Sixth Form, Bluecoat Wollaton Academy, Bluecoat Beechdale Academy, Bluecoat Primary Academy and The Nottingham Emmanuel School.

We are looking to appoint an excellent EYFS practitioner with experience of leadership to build a team around our vision for EYFS. We are looking for someone who can bring passion, creativity and a sense of purpose to our enthusiastic, forward-thinking team. We can offer good support to enable you to achieve your full potential and shape your career path. Being part of a multi-academy Trust offers great opportunities for career progression and, there is potential for this role to grow and develop as the school increases in size.

Bluecoat Primary Academy is at an exciting stage in its development, having been open for just three years and with a Nursery and Focus Provision which has been open since September. It has already built a strong set of values that are at the heart of its work and there is a clear vision for the future. We are currently working towards developing a truly inspiring curriculum that enables children to leave the school with good knowledge, great skills and a breadth of experience that will go alongside their high standards of academic achievement to open up a world of opportunities for pupils in the future. In order to achieve this, we need to develop our leadership team and therefore require an EYFS leader to help to shape the future of this key stage. This is a great opportunity for someone who has an excellent knowledge of effective teaching and learning in the Early Years, is good at creative problem solving, and is looking to take a really active role in leadership in order to bring about lasting change.

The children we serve at Bluecoat are from very diverse backgrounds and so our approach needs to be flexible, understanding and adaptive whilst staying true to our strong Christian ethos and maintaining focus on our core values.

To be the best that we can be, we need to employ the best. If you have a strong commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and learning to all – from those who need additional support, right through to children who need high levels of challenge; If you can bring out the best in children from a range of backgrounds and with a range of needs; If you are able to work effectively within a leadership position, then please call the Head Teacher to find out more about this fantastic opportunity.
