Recruiting two in early years (ages 3-4 and 4-5)

International School of Debrecen in Hungary is looking to recruit two early years teachers for August 2019. As a co-educational day school for students aged 3-18 years, this exciting new venture will bring the ethos of rigorous child focused education, extra-curricular excellence and outstanding pastoral care to the historic city of Debrecen.

The school will open in September 2019 in a purpose-built state of the art facility and will provide premium education for expat and local families looking for an international curriculum. It is the school’s intention to be an IB World School offering the PYP, MYP and IB Diploma.

About the role

We will look to you to help develop the curriculum, classroom practices and assessment standards designing learning activities that are aligned to our school’s Mission, Vision and Values. We want our students to experience a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved. You will foster an environment of collaboration and collegiality to ensure the development of a professional learning community.

About you

Able to adapt quickly to a start-up environment and its demands, you will bring a degree, a recognized teaching qualification and a minimum of three years quality teaching experience, preferably within a PYP setting. You will be a fitting ambassador for the school, enjoy working with parents and possess the ability to communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations.
