Job overview

ABC teachers looking to recruit a full time reception teacher starting after February half term 2018, at a large primary school in Sheldon, Birmingham.

The school has most recently been recognised as ‘Good’ by Ofsted due to the fantastic school environment provided for children to thrive and progress in both physically and mentally. There is a positive and inclusive ethos across the school catering for all pupils including a high number of EAL pupils. The staff here are committed to the development and education of children and they work well as a team for the benefit of the children.

The Head teacher is looking for a teacher who can hit the ground running by building good professional relationships and will be able to engage with the class as a whole. You will be fully supported within the class by the Senior Leadership Team and you will be expected to work as a team to provide challenging and fun education. You must be a good communicator, be proactive and flexible in your approach to teaching.

The role will be for 1 term only from February until Easter 2018, both newly qualified and experienced teacher will be considered.

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references, either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).

Don’t have an up to date DBS? No problem. We will process a new DBS for you and once you have fully registered and worked 1 day with us, we will refund you the money. This will save you close to £50! (Subject to terms and conditions)

If you are interested in this position, please contact Charlie Tims on 01543 410500 or forward your CV on to ctims@abc-teachers.co.uk. Please get in contact using the above telephone number or email to enquire about other positions available.
