We are currently looking to appoint an Early Years teacher to join our wonderful teaching team. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and well qualified Early Years teacher to join our school. With our school thriving and increasing numbers we require a specialist Early Years teacher to join us in September for the new academic year. You will be teaching our amazing, hardworking and outstanding early years pupils, working with 2-4 year olds in our Nursery and Pre-Reception class. 

This role is a permanent full time teaching position in Early Years. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who will be able to excite our pupils and provide them with stimulating and thoughtful learning. Working with our youngest pupils you must be able to excite them about their education. This role would be suitable for experienced teachers or those starting out in their career. This role could be the perfect opportunity for an ECT looking to start a career in the independent sector.

Located in Walton on Thames, Danesfield Manor School is a one form entry school educating boys and girls from the age of 2 – 11 years of age. With strong values and growth mindset approach to learning, we empower our pupils with excellent knowledge, extensive vocabulary and innate confidence. We believe that a values based education enriches our teaching and learning, allows our pupils to achieve beyond their own expectations and prepares them for their life-long journey beyond Danesfield.

 We are looking for an Early Years Teacher who is able to; 

  • Inspire children with enthusiasm and a love of learning by delivering high quality learning that engages our children 
  • Prepare and plan for teaching, taking into account the requirements of children of all abilities 
  • Prepare and develop, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment and pastoral arrangements.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to pupils and their parents in an engaging way that encourages continuous learning at home


What you will need

  • Evidence of continuing professional teacher development and to continue to learn 
  • To have a sound knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years curriculum
  • The ability to inspire children to reach their full potential
  • Experience of teaching in the Early Years age range.
  • A strength and passion to teach in Early Years.
