This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational candidate to join a school dedicated to maximising progress for students across the whole ability range. Age and the extent of experience are less important than the ambition to ensure that our students get the very best teaching.
The position is to build on the long established successes of the subject at Southgate School. Students in Economics at Southgate consistently make excellent progress. As subject lead the successful candidate will be expected to build on the existing engaging and challenging schemes of learning, as well as giving feedback on regular and accurate student assessments. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Department for Business & Economics.
Opportunities for professional development are wide-ranging and an added attraction for potential new staff through both our Teaching School and Multi Academy Trust School status. We believe that development of staff is a key aspect in raising standards for our students.
