For the next academic year our school requires an Economics teacher

The successful applicant will be responsible for the implementation of the Economics curriculum and for the development of student learning in this subject area. Specific responsibilities include:

• Assessment of student work

• Constructive and timely feedback to promote learning

• Use of appropriate technology to enhance learning

• Development of a stimulating classroom environment to support learning

• The use of relevant materials to encourage real life contexts for learning

• Developing an inquiry mindset in our students

• Participation in parent evenings and collaborative planning meetings

Applicants should be suitably experienced in the field of economics and hold a degree in this area. They should have teaching experience and have a passion for their subject, being able to inspire students to develop skills and an interest in Economics. They will be required to teach IGCSE and IB Diploma.
