Education Assistant

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Education Assistant, who has the skills and ability to demonstrate an understanding of supporting and guiding students in their learning.

The post is within our Inclusion Department where you will be joining a successful team dedicated to helping and supporting students with special needs to achieve their full potential during their time at West Coventry Academy.  As part of the role you will be required to work closely with all departments and stakeholders to deliver high quality support to all students on the SEN register.

The successful applicant will be required to work with KS3, 4 and 5 Students and deliver high quality support to them. Team work is an essential part of this role as you will be required to work across all curriculum areas.

Criteria for Appointment: GCSE in Maths & English at ‘C’ Level or above (or equivalent) Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) or be willing to undertake this qualification Experience of working with young people If you have the ability to inspire and motivate students, we would like to hear from you.
