Are you an outstanding teacher, who wants to transform how schools build the essential skills of their students?

Enabling Enterprise is an award-winning social enterprise. Our mission is to ensure that one day, all students leave school equipped with the skills, experiences and aspirations to succeed – beyond just a set of qualifications. We do this through creating innovative educational programmes for schools that introduce new, more enterprising teaching approaches. Our work is reinforced and supported by more than 130 top employers including PwC, London City Airport and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate teacher, comfortable working with students, training and modelling to teachers, and presenting to school leaders. We want someone who will be dedicated to building and maintaining relationships with our schools, and supporting them to make our programmes transformational for their children. To build credibility, we are looking for evidence of outstanding teaching practice in a primary or secondary school in the UK. Subject specialism is not important.

From our three national offices in London, Birmingham and Manchester, we currently work over 95,000 students in schools across the country, from Middlesbrough down to the South coast. This will be a key role as Enabling Enterprise becomes a truly national organisation, working towards our goal of developing the essential skills of over 125,000 students per year across England by 2019.

Key Responsibilities: 

(1) Programme Delivery 

● Building excellent relationships with a cluster of schools

● Ensuring top quality delivery of programmes to schools in the region

○ Liaising with schools and teachers

○ Organising and delivering teacher training

○ Helping schools to adapt programmes to their requirements

○ Delivering inspiring student trips to our business partners

● Supporting strong partnerships with business supporters

(2) New school engagement

● Promoting our programmes to new schools

● Recruiting schools to take up our programmes to fulfil our ambitions to reach more students each year

● Developing your sales pipeline through to conversion against targets, whilst maintaining a strong positive reputation for our work 

● Supporting us in building up our national profile and communications

(3) Programme Development 

● Creating new and exciting elements to our programmes, as part of our in-house curriculum development team

● Working to improve our programmes to continue to react to feedback and increase their effectiveness with every student

● Supporting with the design of new student and teacher learning experiences as we continue to innovate our offer and explore new ways of achieving our mission.

Salary: £28,000-£32,000 subject to review in 12 months
