“How can Headteachers be Better Supported?”
There is clearly more than one answer to this question, but if you’re one of the people asking it, please read on…
If the unique challenges of the past year have taught us anything, it’s that as a large MAT, when we get it right, the support, guidance and sense of community we can offer our school leaders is second to none. Despite the clear ongoing challenges facing us all in education, we have grown over this period from a Multi Academy Trust, into the TKAT Family.
If you’re still reading, it’s possible that you have the qualities that we are looking for. Supporting our schools requires passion, understanding, teamwork, empathy and, above all, a genuine love for the profession. In return, our role is to support you by giving you the flexibility to work how and when you need to; to open up opportunities to develop your career; to enable you to flourish as an individual and to offer the kind of rewards you can only find from improving the prospects and life chances for literally thousands of children and young people.
If you can talk to us about your headship experience, your experience of supporting school improvement, your ability to work as part of a close-knit team and your demonstrable impact as a leader, please get in touch and contact hr@tkat.org. We’d love to hear from you.
Our Commitment - Equal, Inclusive, Diverse
TKAT is committed to inclusion, diversity and equality of opportunity by encouraging and welcoming differences, listening to struggles, aspirations and accomplishments and learning how to grow better together. We welcome applications from all suitable candidates, regardless of any protected characteristic; this includes from applicants wishing to work flexibly.
Safeguarding
TKAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment will be subject to the full Safer Recruitment process, including an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.
