Full time working 37 hours per week, 52weeks per annum

Salary £20,744 per annum 

An exciting opportunity exists for an Education Health Care plan administrator / co-ordinator at Brooksby Melton College to support the ALS team in all aspects of the department.

Brooksby Melton College is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire, spread across two main campuses – one in the heart of the lively market town of Melton Mowbray and the other on an 850-acre estate at Brooksby. 

The College received a “Good” Ofsted judgement in 2016 and our objective is to be judged an “Outstanding” College within the next five years. As part of this journey, both our campuses have undergone a £27m redevelopment, bringing new facilities and improved environments for all our students and staff.

The successful candidate will co-ordinate  and  chair all EHCP annual reviews in the college across both campuses and undertake administration for the ALS team, as well as providing cover when needed for  LSA’s. 

The role will require comprehensive knowledge of the SEN code of practice, Education Health and Care plans and a variety of learning difficulties and disabilities.  The candidate must be adaptable and have the confidence to engage with students, parents, teaching staff, multi-agencies and cross college departments. 

The successful candidate will have experience of administration work, have the ability to identify and handle sensitive and confidential matters and also experience of conducting review meetings is desirable. 

You will be self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, confident and proactive with excellent communication skills.
