Hours: 30 hours per week term time only

We are seeking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team of staff within the designated specialist provision for students with Complex Communication and Interaction needs including those with Autism Spectrum Condition. 

You will work as part of a team including teachers and other support staff to support the learning and welfare of our students who have Educational Health and Care Plan’s (EHCP’s), as part of the specialist provision in a mainstream school.

The role includes helping students by providing practical support which will promote and facilitate learning, educational activities, the development of social skills and integration to secure the educational and emotional well-being of our students. 

You will be a professional and positive role model that can instill confidence and translate a ‘can do’ attitude to students to enable them to achieve their full potential.  You will need excellent communication and inter-personal skills, have the ability to offer a calming and reassuring presence and be open and approachable and committed to meeting the needs of students both in and out of the classroom.

Interviews are expected to take place week commencing 19 April 2021.
