Job overview

St Jude’s Early Learning Centre has been operating since 2014. The two room Centre is open from the hours of 7.30 am to 6.00 pm, and provides preschool teaching and learning (9.00 am - 3.00 pm) and out of school hours care for up to 66 four year old children. 

An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced Early Childhood educator to lead a team as a place of excellence in teaching and learning, where relationships and partnerships are nurtured and respected, and where children develop a strong sense of identity within a safe and supportive environment.

This is a one year full-time contract position. The successful applicant will be able to choose to start either on 26 November 2018 or 29 January 2019. The employment period finishes on 20 December 2019.

Applications are invited from interested candidates able to demonstrate a commitment to the aims of Catholic Education.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.

Applicants are required to address the selection criteria, either through a statement of suitability or individually, to a maximum of 3 pages plus submit a current resume including 3 professional referees.
