We are looking for Lecturers and Trainer Assessors in this specialist area for full time and part time hours.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team of staff to deliver City & Guilds Electrical Installation qualifications to both full-time students and apprentices through Lecturing and/or Assessing. You will have the ability to deliver general installation work, inspection and test of installations, possess current industry health and safety understanding and have excellent communication skills.

The College welcomes applications from teachers and experienced industry professionals and will support applicants in gaining a recognised teaching or assessing qualification as required.

Wigan and Leigh College is a further education college in Wigan, Greater Manchester, which has been providing education and training locally for more than 150 years. It employs around 1,000 staff and has a student roll of about 17,000. Further education students can choose the A-level professional honours programme or vocational qualifications such as BTECs. An expanding higher education portfolio of foundation degrees, top-up degrees, higher nationals and certificates is available to adult students of all ages, both full-time and part-time. 

Wigan and Leigh College operates from several sites across the borough: the Parson’s Walk Centre, School for the Arts and Pagefield Centre are in Wigan, close to the town centre. The Image Centre and Leigh College are close to the town centre of Leigh.
