Part time – 1 day per week - Thursday OR Friday £24.28 per hour  Auto Enrolment into the Teacher’s Pension Scheme Based at the St Albans Campus

We are looking for candidates that have the relevant industry experience and hold a level 3 qualification in Electrical, the ideal candidate will be strongly knowledgeable in the Electrical and construction industry and able to engage with a wide range of people. You will teach on the level 2 and level 3 Electrical course 1 day per week, there is requirement for you to teach functional skills in English and Maths. 

A teaching qualification is not essential, but must be willing to work towards. If you have the skills for this role and want a fresh challenge, then we would like to hear from you.

The college offers a structured induction programme for those new to teaching, you will be paired with an experienced mentor and start on a reduced teaching timetable, gradually increasing as your experience and skills strengthen. You will gain broad experience in a teaching environment from enrolment, SAR process to results day. You will also have the opportunity to experience a variety of departments at the college.  

In addition to this, we will offer you in depth coaching and the opportunity to achieve a recognised teaching qualification.
