(26.5 hours per week/52 weeks per year) It is anticipated that from time to time these hours will be exceeded as reasonably necessary for the proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of the post.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Engagement team. Working closely with our Engagement, Student Services and Marketing Teams you will develop, encourage and maintain close working relationships with schools, parents, communities, local authorities and other stakeholders. You will also provide vital administration support to the Engagement Team, dealing with booking and recording feedback, surveys and resource preparation.

You should have the ability to work with young people and adults to help and advise them regarding further education opportunities and choices, including some classroom delivery in key feeder schools. You will assist with the development and maintenance of a broad range of internal and external activities and services to promote the College and further education options including: taster sessions, career events, open evenings and community events.

You must be willing to undertake substantial travel and be highly flexible as there is an element of working out of normal office hours and a need to visit schools and attend community events. Please note this position will be based in Chesterfield with occasional travel to Derby and Nottingham and other areas as required.

Previous experience of working in a guidance or customer service environment is essential, as is a Level 3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance, or willingness to work towards.
