English/HSIE Teacher with the option of 2 point House Coordinator

The successful applicant will be able to clearly demonstrate:

  • An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
  • Expertise as a classroom practitioner and passion for delivering high quality lessons
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience
  • Ability to use technology to inform learning
  • A sound understanding of contemporary research in educational practice
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

Interested candidates should submit a one page application which addresses the following criteria:

  • Up to date knowledge of NESA requirements for all stage 4, 5 and 6 courses in either English or HSIE
  • Ability to contribute to the further development of a self-reviewing and self-improving school culture
  • Ability and experience in teaching Senior English or HSIE or a combination of these subjects
  • Experience and willingness to collaborate and contribute to dynamic learning teams committed to improving learning growth of all students
  • Ability to use and engage in data to inform teaching and learning plans to improve student learning
