We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled English and Humanities Teacher to join Penola Catholic College and teach in an innovative and contemporary environment.

As an innovative English and Humanities Teacher (Year 9, 10 and 11) you will strive to create a learning environment that enables all students to flourish. This is a fixed term full time (1 FTE) position initially for one month with the possibility of extension.

The classes include:

  • 2 x Year 9 English
  • 3 x Year 9 Humanities (WWI)
  • 1 x Year 10 EAL support
  • 1 x Year 11 VCAL - Personal Development

About You

To be successful you will be an innovative and engaging Teacher, with a passion for English and Humanities and a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks. You will also be registered or have the ability to be registered with VIT.

You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
