We believe our students will become beautiful people. We know this will happen because we focus relentlessly on character growth and quality of work. Would you like to join our team and help the development of our great school?
Over 160 educators visited our school in its first year, and were awarded ‘School of the Year’ by the Whole Education network. We know we are creating something very special. To be part of our school creation is a once in a lifetime opportunity that should not be undervalued by any potential candidate.
“I am confounded by how much success you have had in such a short space of time. This is the best start to a school I have ever seen”, Ron Berger, Chief Academic Officer of Expeditionary Learning, a network of over 150 schools in the USA.
We are seeking to appoint an energetic and committed teacher to lead English and the development of literacy across our school. This is a unique opportunity for the successful teacher to help develop and co-construct an exciting and inspirational curriculum that has literacy at its core.
We deliver our curriculum through cross subject expeditions at all key stages. At XP, we are building a team of teachers who are strong in their trained subject and are willing to support and develop their teaching in other subjects to deliver our cross-subject learning expeditions. Most teachers have passions and expertise in subjects close to, or disparate from, their trained subject and will therefore have the opportunity to bring these wider skills into our curriculum.
This is is a fantastic chance for you to contribute to our extraordinary team.
The biggest impact on our students is the quality of our teachers, so our school is built on professional development. Our induction process therefore starts in June with new staff going outward bound, experiencing an expedition ‘slice’ and co-constructing our curriculum through designing learning expeditions.
“Every day, for one reason or another, it is confirmation that XP is something immensely special and that I am part of a team that has embarked on a very special project that will change the future lives of children and send waves across education in the UK”, Gemma Vayro, Teacher of Humanities, XP.
Must be available on Friday 18th October to interview.
