In addition, the school wishes to have close ties with its parent community, so that families, teachers and students can all work together to help pupils reach their potential.
Educational Scotland report
“Staff had created a caring, purposeful learning environment. They were very knowledgeable about, and responded well to, the needs of a very diverse group of children. Children were motivated in their learning and concentrated for extended periods. They were developing friendships and played happily together or on their own. Staff were consistently patient and encouraging. They made very good use of questioning to extend and support children’s learning. There was a good balance between free play and more structured activities.”
