£143.50 - £171 PER DAY 

Salary is dependent on a 5 or 6 session day. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching in Secondary Schools.

Vision for Education is currently recruiting a specialist Teacher of English up to Y10 to complete a part time, long term supply post 3 days a week within one of our partnered schools in Barnsley. The ideal candidate will hold QTS and will have experience teaching English up to KS4. Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for flexibility and a minimal role, or an NQT looking to professionally develop your skills – this role would be suitable for you. 

The role 

This role is a long-term supply role for a minimum of 5 weeks, up to 15 weeks. The role is to start ASAP ideally after Easter. It is a part time role 3 days per week and is based at a large Secondary Academy, part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust. 

Requirements 

To be considered for the position of English Teacher, you will: 

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).  

• Have experience teaching in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE Level. 

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists. 

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
