We are seeking a passionate Teacher of English to join our friendly department where English Literature and Film Studies are popular subjects at A level.
We are a multicultural girls' selective school and one of the top performing schools in Bexley. As part of Odyssey Trust for Education, we work alongside King Henry School, enhancing opportunities for career development and experiences.
In this position, you will join our supportive team, teaching across the Key Stages. GCSE and A Level results are consistently well above the national average with a grade 8 or 9 awarded to 56% of students for their Literature GCSE.
We provide a full induction programme for all new members of staff with excellent professional development opportunities. You’ll also benefit from our shared knowledge and experience, as we regularly collaborate and share best practice.

We have ten CPD days over the academic year, weekly bespoke CPD for staff after an early end to the school day on Monday as well as a two-week half term in October.
