English Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Required for start of Summer Term (23 April 2019)

We are seeking a specialist teacher of English with an ability to inspire pupils in the Upper School (Years 6, 7 and 8) and to prepare them for Common Entrance, Scholarship and school specific examinations. Applicants should be prepared to work collaboratively and supportively within a strong English Department which has recently been judged ‘outstanding’ in a subject review. At the heart of the Department is the desire for our pupils to grow into highly literate young people. 

Applicants should by suitably qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational with high expectations of pupils and a love of teaching. The candidate is required to start at the beginning of the Summer Term, Wednesday 23rd April 2018.
