Matrix International School (MIS) is an established international school, located in Seremban, Malaysia. The school is approximately 35 minutes away from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. We offer a broad and innovative curriculum from Early Years to IGCSE, based on a combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales.

Applicants:

MIS is seeking a person who can enable students to achieve their potential in English and support their development towards other subjects covered in the Secondary curriculum. To help students leave MGS as confident and independent, life-long learners who can communicate their ideas effectively.

We are seeking professionals who:

  • are UK-trained or equivalent (PGCE or QTS) and has relevant experience of the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England and Wales;
  • have at least three years’ experience in teaching in KS3 and/or KS4 and is registered with the Department of Education (DfE) or equivalent;
  • have previous experience in teaching children towards the Cambridge Checkpoint examinations for Lower Secondary.
  • have up-to-date knowledge on the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England and Wales.
  • can deliver a balanced, broad and differentiated curriculum for their learners;
  • can deliver well-planned, rigorous and interesting learning experiences for their students;
  • have high expectations of learners with appropriate inspiration and challenge.
  • encourage and contribute to a well-organised and inspiring learning environment;
  • experience of integrating technology into learning and teaching.
  • understand the importance of applying school policies consistently;
  • have a growth mindset to all aspects of school life;
  • passionate and willing to go above and beyond for the school community.
