We are looking to appoint an English Teacher to start September 2018 or earlier.
Bitterne Park School is a large community school with a strong tradition of academic achievement. We provide an excellent education for 11-19 year olds set within the Bitterne Park Community. Our core values of Community; Achievement; Respect; Relationships and Enjoyment permeate all that we aspire to be.
We have recently moved into a brand new £22 million pound building with excellent facilities. We are seeking an innovative and enthusiastic teacher to contribute to the further growth of our outstanding English team. We are a flourishing and over-subscribed school, with high expectations of all our students, and a commitment to the personal and professional development of our staff. As an established Teaching School we offer our staff access to an excellent NQT programme, a broad range of high-quality training and the opportunity to work in various capacities with colleagues from our partner schools.
The candidate should be able to teach English to all ages and abilities at KS3 and 4. We also have a English Literature Advanced Level course that runs in our Sixth Form, and an opportunity exists for a suitable candidate to teach in this area.
If you think you excel at enabling the learning of students, we would be delighted to consider your application.
Closing date: Monday 19 February 2018 - noon
