Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a relevant teaching qualification.

We are currently recruiting for candidates in the Wakefield area experienced in teaching English at GCSE level.  The role could be based in both a mainstream secondary setting or on Vision for Education's online tutoring service and you will be providing additional interventions and catch up sessions.  The ideal candidates must have a desire to motivate and help students to progress and achieve success rates in these core subjects.

You must also be approachable, inspiring, enthusiastic and be able to quickly build relationships. This is a great time to join us and become part of our committed teaching team.

Requirements

To be considered for the English Tutor position, you will:

• Have experience teaching English GCSE in either mainstream or post-16 setting

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary teachers

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
