Term time only, 42 weeks, fixed term from September 2018 to December 2019, full time 37 hours per week
This is a unique opportunity for dynamic and charismatic individuals to join a team of Enrichment Engagement Officers at Bradford College. The team will design and deliver a broad offer of enrichment activities that develop the Essential Life Skills of 16- 18 year old Further Education students in line with Bradford’s Essential Skills Funding criteria. Successful applicants will have a proven track record of maximising engagement and student/ young people uptake of services, be able to work directly with students to assess their skills and support and encourage them to broaden and develop their experiences taking full advantage of opportunities available to them. The team need to have a keen eye for detail as monitoring and reporting are important functions of the role.
Applicants may come from various backgrounds including education and youth and community work, however, applications from diverse fields are encouraged. Being a fixed term contract for the duration of the externally funded project, this is an ideal opportunity for secondment or those seeking to build experience of working with young people.
