Responsible for the coordination and delivery of the ESF Future Foundations Project. The post holder will ensure successful delivery of activities that will increase awareness, recruitment, retention and student success for Apprenticeship provision for economically inactive and unemployed young people. Applicants should be highly motivated, have project coordination experience, understand the complexities of EU funding and be adept at building/developing relationships with external stakeholders and intermediaries. Knowledge of and experience of facilitating and developing programmes is essential.

You will be self-motivated and personable and be an excellent communicator with good analytical, diagnostic, negotiation and problem-solving skills. The ability to plan, organise, prioritise and work under pressure in a complex environment is also essential. 

Applicants should have a recognised Project Management qualification or be willing to work towards one, as well as experience in using data systems, Microsoft Office and CRM with excellent IT skills. An Information Advice and Guidance NVQ Level 4 or Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development is also desirable.

The ideal candidate would also have a proven track record in successful operational project / programme delivery, preferably on an ESF project, as well as an understanding of, and experience within Careers Education and Information, Advice and Guidance, with a particular focus on Apprenticeship pathways.

You must be willing to travel throughout Cornwall and access to own transport and a full, clean driving license is essential. 

This post is part-funded by the European Social Fund.
