Merici College is an IB World School, authorised to offer the Diploma Program (Years 11-12) and in the process of candidacy for the Middle Years Program (Year 7-10).

We are looking for innovative, creative and committed teachers and leaders. We recognise and support teachers who have achieved national Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher Certification. An excellent opportunity exists for a European Languages Teacher (Italian and/or French and/or Spanish) to join our comprehensive and enthusiastic team. To be successful in this role, you will have the demonstrated ability to be an innovative classroom teacher, who is committed to the school’s philosophy of Powerful Learning, employing a wide range of student centred, brain-based learning strategies and who is willing to explore new models of teaching, including team teaching, to improve outcomes for all students. Additionally, you will have a commitment to be forward-thinking to promote excellent outcomes in an all-girls environment.

This is a permanent part-time position commencing 25 January 2021. The hours being offered range from 0.5 to 0.66 FTE.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CE policy.
