St Paul’s Way Trust School, supported by Queen Mary University of London, is seeking to recruit exam invigilators to join our well established examinations team. This is a great opportunity for a vigilant and attentive individual with calm, professional and approachable manner to facilitate the smooth running of all internal and external examinations in school.

Exams take place throughout the academic year but the main examination season is during the months of May and June. You will assist the School Examinations Team to maintain the integrity of examinations and ensure that exams are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations set by JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications). 

The main purpose of this role is to:

• To support the Examinations Team in managing all aspects of the Examinations Process, both external and internal in accordance with the regulations laid down by the awarding bodies.

• To watch and monitor the candidates throughout the exams.

• To act as the record keeper for every examinations.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to helping every student realise his or her potential. You will need to have an eye for detail and be a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, with the ability to remain composed in a busy environment. The successful candidate will be a team player with a proactive approach to work. You will be good at liaising with other staff to ensure effective communication of all necessary information for the examinations process.
