We have an exciting key vacancy for an Examination Officer in our dynamic and progressive academy.  

The successful candidate will share the aspirational ambitions of our school and work closely with the Deputy Headteacher.  We are a happy and thriving school committed to equality and diversity. This is a full time role during term time with the requirement to work 3 weeks in August including both A’ Level and GCSE results days.  In addition during the 5 week ‘Public Exam Period’ in May and June each year; to work from 7.15am each day in order to facilitate the prompt and efficient start to exams across a number of venues on our Campus. Previous experience of Exam administration would be advantageous.

Duties will include:

• Administration and organisation of both public and internal examinations.

• Recruitment and management of the Exam Invigilation Team 

• Management of the daily running of external examinations

• Preparation, organisation and secure storage of examination materials

• Distribution of examination results and certificates to students.

• Exceptional data management skills?

• A systematic approach to workload management?

• Accomplished planning, time management and organisational skills?

• Outstanding communication and team working skills? 

Are you:

• Educated to GCSE Grade 9-7 (A*-C) or equivalent in English and Maths?

• Proactive, self-motivated and intuitive?

• Flexible in your approach to work

• Able to converse at ease with parents, carers, students and members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English?
