EXAMINATION OFFICER 

FULL TIME during TERM TIME + 3 WEEKS 

APT&C SCALE 6/S01 POINTS 19-25 £25,927 - £30,095 pro rata 

Actual salary = £24,112 up to £27,988 per annum (dependent upon experience)

Start Date: September 2022

We have an exciting key vacancy for an Examination Officer in our dynamic and progressive academy.

This is a full time role during term time with the requirement to work 3 weeks in August including both A’ Level and GCSE results days.  In addition during the 5 week ‘Public Exam Period’ in May and June each year; to work from 7.15am each day in order to facilitate the prompt and efficient start to exams across a number of venues on our Campus. Previous experience of Exam administration would be advantageous.

Duties will include:

• Administration and organisation of both public and internal examinations.

• Recruitment and management of the Exam Invigilation Team 

• Management of the daily running of external examinations

• Preparation, organisation and secure storage of examination materials

• Distribution of examination results and certificates to students.

• Educated to GCSE Grade 9-7 (A*-C) or equivalent in English and Maths?

• Proactive, self-motivated and intuitive?

• Flexible in your approach to work

• Able to converse at ease with parents, carers, students and members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English?
