Salary: Grade 6  (£23,080 – £25,481) SCP 14 - 19 per annum

Hours: 37 per week – term time plus 10 days

Actual salary £20,157 - £21,141


Governors of The Marvell College are looking to appoint an efficient and very well organised Examinations Officer to work as part of the Data, Examinations and Curriculum (DEC) team.

The post will appeal to colleagues with a proven track record and experience of working in a school examinations environment, but also to any individual committed to personal development and with a willingness to learn.  The Marvell College runs the SIMS management information system of which some knowledge would be an advantage though not essential.

The successful candidate will:

– promote the mission and values of the college at all times

– enjoy the opportunity to innovate and adapt a system led approach to problem solving

– be able to remain calm under pressure

– build strong interpersonal relationships and be a highly effective team player

– communicate effectively with colleagues and all stakeholders in our pupils’ education
