Job overview

The Elmgreen School is looking to appoint an Examinations Officer who will have responsibility for the organisation of all internal and external assessment arrangements.  

35 hours per week, term time only, plus 2 additional weeks to cover period around the August results days and examination entries in February. 

You will need excellent organisational, communication and ICT skills. In addition you will need to be able to share the ethos of The Elmgreen School, show attention to detail and create and lead a team of invigilators. Ideally you will have had similar experience in an education setting, however training will be given. You will be joining a highly inclusive school rated good by Ofsted. 

The Elmgreen School, is part of The Great Northwood Education Trust with Rosendale Primary School. The school is fully comprehensive and offers a broad and balanced curriculum designed to help all students succeed.

About The Elmgreen School

The Elmgreen School is a unique 11-18 secondary school. It is a non denominational mixed school which opened to its first cohort of year 7 students in September 2007.   The secondary Hearing Impaired Unit is co-located within the school. We will reach our full complement of 1100 students in 2014 which will include a 200 place sixth form. The school moved to its inspirational new building in September 2009.

The school is non selective and provides a creative and innovative curriculum, encouraging the highest standards of teaching and learning within an ethos of mutual respect, harmony and achievement.
