We are looking for an experienced Exams Officer to come and set up the exams processes throughout Aureus School. This is a rare opportunity and a new role for the school.
This is an exciting time to join Aureus School as we grow into our fifth year. The Exams Officer will be responsible for the administration, organisation and smooth running of all internal and external examinations ensuring compliance with the annual awarding body and Joint Council for Qualifications regulations. They will act as a source for advice and information regarding all matters relating to examination and assessment administration, developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues. Applicants should have experience of leading and managing the examination process or similar processes. Candidates without direct experience should have a good understanding of secondary education and be able to show the ability to lead and manage the examination process. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week), 40 weeks per year (term time plus 'exams week' in summer holidays). Actual salary is £22,172.
As a purpose built school, Aureus has brand new facilities, equipment and classrooms using the latest equipment such as SMART TV boards in every classroom and Visualisers enabling teachers to bring learning to life and engage our learners. Lesson planning and delivery is done with ease using the Google Drive and all staff and students are provided with Office 365 professional accounts as a platform for collaboration, sharing and out of school access.
