Cumnor House School is a group of independent Preparatory schools in the heart of Surrey for girls and boys from 2 to 13 years.  Part of Cognita, one of the world’s largest families of schools, our aim at Cumnor House is for all children to 'be their best selves', for pupils to build on their strengths, believe in themselves, dare to be different and challenge themselves with high expectations. 

We now seek an experienced, forward-looking and transformational Executive Head to lead Cumnor House School with ambition into the next stage of its development.  This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop a motivated group of schools, building on existing strengths to unlock Cumnor House’s full potential.

The successful candidate will combine a track record of highly successful senior leadership experience gained as a Head or as an experienced Deputy Head. S/he will possess the strategic vision, and ambassadorial and business skills to further develop Cumnor House School. We seek a positive, dynamic and visible leader with the charisma and interpersonal skills to inspire internal and external stakeholders across the school community. We welcome applicants from independent schools as well as from the academy and state sectors.
