Executive Principal

We are looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Executive Principal as the driving force behind providing an exceptional and exciting education for the pupils within our MAT - Priorslee Academy (NOR 442) and Buildwas Academy (NOR 55). 

The Executive Principal will work closely the CEO who has prime responsibility for all aspects of the MAT’s finances.

Applicants for the post will be able to evidence experience operating at a senior level within an educational environment. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to build key collaborative and strategic partnerships, maximising the opportunities available to the Trust. As a highly skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to engage credibly and successfully build, lead and further develop key relationships.

The successful candidate will be innovative and a forward thinker, who will bring the drive, inspiration, and commitment to set the future vision for the Trust and its stakeholders.

The Executive Principal will identify opportunities to develop the MAT and engage others who wish to be part of a forward-looking, child focussed and locally defined MAT with a foundation of shared principles and ethos, high standards and values, and strong leadership.

Priorslee Academy is a successful and established school in the heart of a developing town. We have 442 children on roll which includes a purpose built Pre-School with excellent facilities. Priorslee has a two form entry, outstanding facilities and opportunities both inside and outside the classroom including a MUGA pitch, ICT Suite and 90 iPads.

Buildwas Academy joined Priorslee Multi Academy Trust in February 2016. Buildwas Academy is set in a traditional Victorian building in the beautiful countryside close to the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site and Ironbridge Museums. Our school has a strong tradition, educating children since 1855, using the community and extensive local resources provided by the local and wider Shropshire area.
