A fantastic opportunity is awaiting you; the chance to plan, deliver and evaluate stimulating and creative learning experiences within our Early Years Foundation Stage. King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO) are seeking an EYFS class teacher who can inspire, challenge and motivate children and staff. The successful candidate will have a passion for learning, experience in teaching EYFS, energy, flexibility and a sense of humour. You will be a self-motivated and innovative teacher who is confident in the application of the EYFS framework and use of EYFS assessment practices.

KAB opened in a superb new building in September 2018 with 120 Year 7 students and will grow year on year to a roll of over 1800 students, aged 3-18. In September 2019, the primary phase at KAB opened, along with King’s Academy Oakwood, a brand new 1 FE primary school a mile away. In September 2021, KAB will consist of students in year N, to year 2 and year 7 through to year 10, whilst KAO will have students from year R to year 4.

The successful candidate should be an excellent classroom teacher with experience of working within EYFS. They will be a team player and will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life. A genuine commitment to our ‘whatever it takes’ ethos is essential to enable every young person at KAB and KAO to thrive.

King’s Academy Binfield and King’s Academy Oakwood are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young students and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.

Through our ethos, our extended curriculum, our entrepreneurial approach and international dimension, we will ensure students develop into confident, rounded individuals, equipped for life in an ever changing world.

We pride ourselves on listening and responding to the needs of our partner schools and guarantee any school within KGA the opportunity to help shape the future development of our MAT.
