Downham Feoffees are looking for a creative and flexible Teaching Assistant to work in our Early Years Class.  A sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum is required, plus experience of working with children with autism is essential. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and skills to support a child with additional needs. 

We are looking for a proactive, child-focused Teaching Assistant to work with a child who has recently been approved for an Education Health and Care Plan. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience with PECS or Makaton, but training can be given. You will work within a team and will be well-supported by the class teacher and SENDCo. 

This post is for 32.5 hours per week, term time at point Grade 2, point 4-5, depending on experience.  We would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
