The Chief Executive Officer of The Donaldson’s Trust, Linlithgow, invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the post of:   

Facilities Technician / Driver - Full Time 

The Trust is now seeking a dynamic and creative individual to take on the role of Facilities Tech nician / Driver.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager the successful candidate will provide an effective maintenance, upkeep, repair, and caretaking service  to minimise breakdowns, downtime and maximise operating efficiencies as well as provide a reliable and quality transport service to service users and visitors.  

Applications are invited from self-motivated individuals who enjoy working on their own as well as part of a team.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi task are essential qualities, as is the ability to accurately record information and evidence high standards of work.  

This is a hand’s on role and requires someone with a pro-active approach who is able to form good working relationships with people at all levels to assist in shaping the future of the trust.   

Requirements: 

Essential:   

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a facilities maintenance position 

• Experience of risk assessments and safe standards of work 

• Experience of transporting passengers  

Desirable:  

• MiDAS or equivalent driving qualification
