We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Science who is committed to improving standards, curriculum and teaching and learning in Science.  They will embody our school values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience in everything they do.  

We are looking for applications from experienced Science teachers who want to lead a large faculty in one of the most exciting and important subjects in the school.

We offer a comprehensive induction and professional learning programme and all leaders are offered a tailored National Qualification for study.

Woodlands Community College is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in Southampton, Hampshire. It is a community state school within the Southampton Education Authority.  A secondary school with places for 900 students between the ages of 11-16, currently oversubscribed with 905 students currently on roll.

The school was opened by then-minister for schools David Miliband in 2003.
