We are a group of 3 Further Education Colleges, 5 schools, 2 apprenticeship providers and a business school. We run four colleges in Saudi Arabia and do international work in China, India and South East Asia. We serve approximately 30,000 students across our group each year.

The Role

Part of your role will be spent teaching and the other half will be spent improving team performance, with a corresponding improvement in the student experience and student outcomes. You will also work with the Faculty Co-ordinators to ensure high quality organisational planning and compliance with necessary administrative procedures.

The Person

This is a key role and as such we're seeking an exceptional candidate who holds a teaching qualification and has significant teaching experience as a successful teacher with the 16–19 age group. You will have an understanding of what makes outstanding teaching and learning and proven management/ leadership experience. The successful candidate will have a specialism in either ESOL/EFL or, special education.

City of Oxford College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in Oxfordshire serving students from the age of 14 and above. The college is part of Active Learning. City of Oxford College has partnerships with organisations including Oxford Brookes University, The National School of Furniture, University of Bedfordshire and Oxford City Learning (OCL).

Formerly Oxford College of Further Education, City of Oxford College was founded in 1960. It is spread across two campuses in Oxford and provides a range of A-level courses, higher education, apprenticeships and vocational training for professionals and adult learners. Facilities include art, design and fashion studios, editing facilities, recording studios and a hair and beauty salon for students to train in.
