At the Eden Academy Trust, we specialise in meeting the educational needs of children and young adults with a range of learning disabilities including those who are autistic and those who have physical or sensory needs.

To strengthen relationships and communication; Eden’s centralised Family Services provide links between home, school, and other services. They work individually with families who need support, advice, or guidance about statutory services involvement and those who are finding it difficult to manage their child’s behaviour or needs at home.

We are looking for a Family Services Coordinator to join the team and help deliver workshops and training to families and help provide pupils and their families with a range of activities outside school hours so they have experiences otherwise inaccessible to them.

Experience of living or working with children and young adults with learning difficulties is desirable and some experience of working with families, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, is essential.

If you would like an informal discussion about the role please email: lisa.hatcher@theedenacademy.co.uk , Service Manager for Families and Safeguarding.

Closing date: Monday 11th July 2022
Interview date: Thursday 14th July 2022

CVs will not be accepted.

Pentland Field School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks.

The Eden Academy Trust may, from time to time, require an employee to be relocated temporarily or permanently to one of its other schools. Any proposal to relocate will be carried out with due consultation and reasonable notice.
