FEMALE PE AND GEOGRAPHY TEACHER (Maternity Cover)

Windermere School is an IB World and Round Square School stunningly situated in the heart of the Lake District and overlooking the shores of Windermere.  

We are seeking a suitably qualified female graduate to teach PE, particularly Tennis, across the school (Years 7-13) and also to teach Geography to Years 7 and 8 for the Summer Term 2018. The ability to oversee the activity programme is also a requirement for this position.

“A wide range of weekend activities takes place in school, in the surrounding area and elsewhere in the country. Many activities also take place on weekday afternoons and evenings. The school successfully implements its equality and anti-discrimination policy. Food is plentiful and nutritious and includes dishes appropriate to an international community. Appropriate policies are implemented for the care of sick or injured boarders. The school’s provision covers: first aid; chronic conditions and disabilities; emergencies, including those at night-time; and administration of prescribed and non-prescribed medication. The school educates the pupils about e-safety and cyber-bullying.”
