Finance and Operations Manager - maternity cover

We have a great opportunity for a calm and considerate school finance and operations  manager to join our school as maternity cover,  in supporting our learners to make excellent progress in all areas of their lives. The Courtyard School is an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ and Challenge Partners rated ‘Outstanding’ special school in the heart of Islington, catering for pupils with autism and/or speech, language and communication needs. 

You will have: 

• Knowledge of current legislation affecting such items as accounting requirements, taxation, payroll, pension and VAT
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills. 
• GCSE A*-C or equivalent in Maths and English. 
• A team player with loads of energy and enthusiasm. 
• An adaptable and flexible approach. 
• A ‘self-starter’ who is happy being a project lead
