FINANCE MANAGER

Salary c. £45,000

We are a highly successful College with excellent outcomes for students, superb resources for learning, and outstanding financial health.

Operating from four main locations: Hereford, Ludlow, Holme Lacy and Shrewsbury, we provide a diverse curriculum to over 2,000 full-time and 6,000 part-time learners. 

In recent years we have made substantial capital investments and developed through mergers with a land-based college, a sixth form college and a training provider. Our ambitions for the future include further expansion, and maximising the impact of our Hereford University Centre.

This important position is an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to an already thriving College. As a member of the small management team you will be a key player, ensuring excellent financial management, developing improved processes and reporting, leading the finance team and liaising with colleagues across the organisation to ensure the continued success of this great College.

About Herefordshire and Ludlow College

Herefordshire and Ludlow College mixed, non-denominational, further education institution with a further education institution located in Hereford, Herefordshire and a sixth form College located in Ludlow, Shropshire. The school was originally opened in 1946 to address the need for local tradespeople. 

The school’s population consists mainly of adults, approximating to 7,000 full time and part time students. Herefordshire and Ludlow College offers a wide range of courses which include, health, public service, childcare, food safety, engineering, business administration, plumbing, catering, languages and sewing.
