Mersey Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join our academy in July 2020, on a permanent basis.  To assist in supporting the Principal through the provision of financial support and information.  Ensuring the academy’s financial management is sound and procedures are adhered to, and relevant reports are forwarded to Delta central finance in a timely manner. 

Mersey Primary Academy is rated by Ofsted (June 2019) as a good school and is located in the East of the city of Kingston Upon Hull. We are very lucky that we are situated in close proximity to three other Delta academies: Craven Primary Academy, Estcourt Primary Academy and The Parks Academy. This allows us to work closely together and each academy is committed to learning from each other and sharing best practise. Our curriculum allows us to deliver lessons that are pertinent to the children in our academy, giving them the opportunity to thrive and to have high aspirations for themselves, whilst learning about the world outside. We have hard working staff who are dedicated to ensuring that they provide a memorable education for all children.  

Hours:  37 hours per week / Term Time only + 10 days (40 weeks per year) / Permanent.

Mersey Primary Academy serves the east of Hull, around the Holderness Road area. We are a small academy with 200 pupils aged between 3 and 11.
